January 14, 2021 – In accordance with provincial stay-at-home order the Regent closes administrative office.

2020

October 5, 2020  – The Regent Theatre hires Sam Du Bois as the Regent’s new Youth Outreach & Engagement Coordinator for 4 month contract. Courtesy of Heritage Canada’s Young Canada Works Program.

October 2, 2020 – The Regent launches The Ghost of the Regent contest. For $25 participants can enter to win the chance to haunt the Regent after they die. All proceeds go towards Raise the Curtain. 

August 21, 2020 – The Regent issues press release announcing major fundraising campaign RAISE THE CURTAIN.

August 20, 2020 – With funding from the Young Canada Works program the Regent Theatre is hiring a Youth Outreach & Engagement Coordinator.

July 1, 2020 – The Wellington Times A vision for the Regent discussion of the new hybrid programming model. 

June 23, 2020 – Council voted 10:4 to approve a $40,000 investment in The Regent’s hybrid programming model.
