A relatively recent transplant to the County, Alexandra took on her current role in December 2019.  She has worked extensively in the arts and culture sector as a freelance director in both theatre and film, as a creative developer and as a project manager and marketing communication specialist with not-for-profit organizations including Luminato, Modern Times Stage Company and the Aga Khan Museum.
She has a long history of working in the post-secondary education sector at University of Toronto, Ryerson University, York University and George Brown College.
With a strong practical background in theatre and film (and two masters degrees in drama and media production) she brings a deep passion for the arts and commitment to preserving the County’s cultural heritage.
