6:30 p.m.- 1.5 hours walking tour through the grounds and graveyard at Macaulay Heritage Park, venturing on to the neighbouring County Jail & Gallows, the site of a most notorious double hanging in 1884.

Sweat, is an a cappella opera about the global garment industry for nine singers by Juliet Palmer and Anna Chatterton. Scored for chorus and four soloists performing in English as well as Cantonese, Ukrainian, Spanish, and Hungarian, Sweat seeks to bring the audience into the heart of a contemporary sweatshop. Plunging headfirst into the ethical conundrums of the garment trade, this opera offers a window into the lives of the workers who clothe us.
